On the occasion of India's Independence Day, I take this opportunity to convey to each and every Indian, that our tricolor flies high because of you. Because you believed in the idea of a unified yet diverse nation, because you relied on the values of honesty, fraternity, accountability and rights for all, because you called right a right, wrong a wrong and held your forte when everyone else around was losing it.
