Climate action must begin by sustained action rolled out from the global north and not from the global south. For too long, we have seen jargon and empty speeches delivered with no commitment to action. We need to picture the last mile communities with utmost sincerity if we wish to achieve climate goals and protect at-risk population from destruction and devastation.
